Mark typo in recent times

Thankyou Chris Nora would be pleased we met indecent times and you have such fond memories. You have summed her up beautifully and perfectly ina few words.She appeared a quiet soul on the inside was a very strong and determined lady who had firm opinions especially when it came to the other team in North London as an example!

I have an enduring memory of Nora’s captivating smile and laugh. I’m sure that both live on in the minds of people whose lives she engaged with on her life journey. A quiet soul with a loud personality and a big heart.

It is a year (16th August) that I lost the most beautiful human being in the world the lovely Nora, my wife of 34 years. I miss you terribly but I am still here, now mobile again with my new disabled car to get me around for local journeys. I would like to thank the many friends of Nora and I who have given me tremendous support over the last year (you know who you are I don't want to name names) along with various NHS officials, the Hospice of ST. Francis etc thank you. There have been sad and tearful times but close friends and family have rallied to support me. Thank you all it was also lovely to see Alex and Heather get married in March 2023 and move into their new home together just a huge pity a very important person was missing on the day, the person who was indirectly responsible for them both meeting and bringing Alex into the world but we know she was there in spirit and her specially hand picked rose petals were used as confetti and caught on film too as requested. We all miss you darling fly with the angels , love Mark xx

I attended The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery today ( Jan/9/2023) in Queens Square, London. It brought back so many memories of Nora not all bad but some of the horrible things she had done there. But by some of the best brain experts and surgeons in the world. These included three lots of Gamma Knife radiation into her brain which killed the cells at the time but meant she had to have a metal frame literally screwed into her skull and lie still for hours. Also the first admission where they drilled through her skull to obtain and biopsy of brain tissue she survived and they got what they needed. Nora fully recovered but had a big dent in her skull thereafter, which most never saw as she had a collection of beautiful wigs to where usually two different styles and lengths on the go at a time. When Alex, Heather and I visited after she had come around the evening of the biopsy, she had given Alex and I a list of questions to ask her to check her memory and brain were working I am pleased to say they were and she correctly named Ericksen as her favourite Spurs players of the time, the date of Alex's birth etc. I thought about her a lot whilst waiting in rooms we had waited in together and walking past the huge oil portrait of Lady Di in one of the corridors we frequently used. They have looked after us both very well there

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are. Speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
